Early thismorning Troll Forces felt the pain of orc steel. Beginning arround
midnight an attack was launched against Troll Keep; the heart of Troll
Kingdom!!! The first wave of our attack dropped many Troll Warriors. Check the
knot door messages for head count. Only when reenforcemnets from the Inner
Keep arrived; were we driven out of the foreign quarter. With my main force
still within strike range; I gave my valiant warriors time to rest; and decide
whether to attack again; leaving no prisoners; or let this assault be witness
enough of our strength and reason to be feared thoughout the realm.
Already at least one human Lord has come over to our cause. We will except and
reward any others who wish to leave a loosing cause; in army3; and march with
victory!!!

I had a few copies of the map printed off and they will be available at my
home for the cost of printing ($1.50). They measure approximatly 4 feet X 2
feet and make for a nice wall hanging and hours of colouring.:) Chat for an

Well it seems no secret who the traitor is - Sir Tarrakon. The massacre at
Rockwaller is well documented in the knot door messages - you have Curdin's
death on your head Tarrakon - something I take personally - as he was not only
an allie of Troll Kingdom - but a personal friend who I have had the honor to
serve with - on past campaigns. There will come a time that that score shall
be settled - and his death avenged!

TKC is an online game that I have been developing on this BBS, through game
play testing for the last couple of years. This room has traditionally been
used as saber rattling, by players, using accounts with the alias name of
thier character(s) in the game. The game consists of a 31,000 hex map and
creatable 'pieces' that can be moved round that map. It is fairly configurable
as to what the 15 possible hex terrain types are named as well as what the 15
'piece' types. In the scenario, here, test players have tended towards a
configuration that is highly influence by Dungeons and Dragons Role Playing
Games. So the 'pieces' are named such things as Fighter, Thief, Armorer, etc.
and the terrain type Gates, Stone Walls, Temples, etc.. The actual game play,
rather than working under the hard and fast game play rules of D&D, instead is
more along the lines of War Stratigy Board games, with it's unique system of
'piece' interaction on the map.
The help area, although not fully operational, has been installed in the main
"T.K.C." Menu as well as the "MOVEMENT" Menu (reached through the "Proceed"
option of the Main Menu). In those two menues if "H","?" or "/" is entered at
the menu prompt, then you will get a prompt to enter the option number of
interest. The numbering corrosponds to the top - down position of that option
in the menu list. Say you were in the "MOVEMENT" Menu and were interested in
the 5th option, called "Interhex". Then you could enter "H" at the menu prompt
and then 5 when prompted for which option. A help page then would appear on
the screen describing that option.
I see you have made it to the point of creating a 'piece/character', in the
T.K.C. Data Records. It is now a matter moving that piece around making allies
and enemies, trying to build up the 'piece' in level, weapons, etc., while
trying to keep it alive. This room would give you an idea of the current
political situation in the T.K.C. world and mail could be sent to any alias
named in this room asking for aide, to join thier cause or whatever devisious
plan you can come up with to further Ludwig's survival.

Scout Character Class Installed (Type 6)
I have created a new character type called Scout. This character type can be
trained in guilds like Mariners, Engineers, Armorers and Commandos. They cost
3000sps to train like all the others. When Skills Option is choosen with such
a character loaded, then a map the size of the full screen, with the Scout's
location being centered will appear. This map will show the population of any
hex in that area with characters on it. This used to be the Atlas Option of
StoreHouses. The StoreHouse no longer has that option available. Scout Types
also get a maximum of 1000 Movement Points per day. Thier cost to train as
well as other stats, like movement points, may be adjusted after studying
thier use in Game Play.

Orc Forces were repelled, yet a second time from Troll Keep, during the night.
The attack force seems weakened beyond a threat by army3 who engaged them
along the southern map border and inside Rockwaller itself. A read through the
KNOT Door LTKC Address will give more details as to the sequence of fighting
throughout the Troll Kingdom last night.
The traitor, Tarrakon, was spotted just south of the Rockwaller Keep's walls,
by army3 forces on thier way to attack Rockwaller's market. He was spared only
because they did not wish to weaken themselves for the upcoming attack. Any in
the area and can reach him will receive 3000sps for his head.
To victory over the orc horde!

Stonefist a safe haven for army3 forces, but a personal involvement. In so
doing, I have travelled to Troll Keep itself, joining those brave defenders. I
challange ye Sir Tarrakon to an honorable match on the battlefield. I shall
meet you at a pre-arranged location, to show you what honor is to a titled
warrior.

Another Stunning Orc Victory!!!
At just before midnight last night; an army3 landing party was sighted
offshore to the west of Mandy's Keep. Orc Foot Soldier6 snuck onboard thier
transport and killed one of the party in thier sleep and snuck offboard again
without notice. So much in fact; that when the party did arouse and begin
landing just after midnight; thier comrade was not EVEN missed!!! They dug in
just south east of the mariner's position; yet giving him NO cover and Dundain
Aberon went on ahead to scout the main southern gate. He was able to get the
gate open and attacked and killed Orc Foot Soldier16; on duty at the time. He
decided to remain there; peeking out the gate from the south east section.
A brave Cog Smacker vollenteered to assualt this goliath. The Commander of the
Guard was so amused he gave permission. Well; although vanquished; the little
Cog put up a valiant fight before succuming to Dundain's two-hander. Orc Foot
Soldier36 then lept into the melee; and after a fierce exchange of blows
felled the mighty Dundain!!! Blood still hot from battle; he raced down to the
shore and boarded Bigfoot Troll's Gally and killed him, then scuttled his
craft. Army3's attack team now stands leaderless and marooned for Mandy's
Garrison to have sport with!!! We only hope they'll scatter to make for better
game!!!
Troll King; if this be the best you have to send against my forces; I suggest
you find a hole and hide in it!!!
Onward to victory!!!

It may be true that the mighty Dundain was lost on assignment, yet army3 has
had it's own gains. The major being to remove Orc Foot Soldier15 from the
Inner Keep's Storehouse at Troll Keep. This was the last of the intruders from
attacks during the last week. Troll Keep is totally under the King's forces...
and I plan to keep it that way. He will not be the last filthy orc to taste my
steel. To victory! Long live the King!

Two sad fatal accedents at Troll Keep to report.
1. A new recruit Dome Guard was critcally injured in a mining accedent and
later died in the Guild House.
2. Dome Guard 1 was critically injured by a gate trap, while clearing the
way to the Foriegn Quarter.
Other than those two unfortunate incidents, all else is secure at Troll Keep
and getting more so each day. Orc activity in the Troll Keep mountain area has
been non-existant, as now we have scouts with which to scan the area. To
victory! Long live the King!

Orc Raiding Party Repulsed!
Army3 Forces, striking from Troll Keep, repulsed an attacking orc party in the
early morning hours. The Orc's Party consisted of a 9th level Commando, high
level Scout and an Engineer. The Commando and Scout were killed as well as
another guard that came forth from Rockwaller Keep. The engineer as well as
all other Orcs that came out of Rockwaller, then retreated back north to the
swamp boundary, just south of the Rockwaller Gates.
Travellers are warned to stay clear of the mountain area between Rockwaller
and Troll Keep, due to the Orc's activity in that area.

An army3 Attack Force landed in Rockwaller at midnight. The Orcs hold only the
Temple, Guild and West Gate. Army3 reenforcements are onroute from Troll Keep
and the Old Capital.

Heavy fighting continued in and arround Rockwaller last night, into the early
morning hours. The Mariner OrcFootSoldier17 was scuttled just west of the
keep, ruling out escape by sea. Dome Guard 11, valiantly, fought on within the
Keep. He isnow critically wounded, with only 6 HPs. It is hoped that the
Mishrak Greyhame will reach Rockwaller tonight to bring him out and send in
freh troops outside the keep walls.
The orcs now hold, only, the Guild and Temple. The west gate and market now
being locked and empty. To victory! Long Live the King!

Tarrakon may have been put down, but, I remain and am now controlling his
affairs... Errant Keep, and now am in charge of his forces.
Although the fight was short, the wounded Dome Guard 11 fell with quite a
fight. but, he has fallen and the orcs have bathed the streets of blood and
have regained TOTAL control of Rockwaller.
Troll King... We know you are a Scout and in the Dome. Watch out, scum...
When you next fall to an Orcian Blade, we will burn you!

I have installed a new feature in the game refresh area. This is engaged each
time the program notices that it is a new date when booting up. I.E. the first
gameplay after midnight. Movement Points refreshening had been the only
activity up till now. Now a check is made to see if the character being
refreshed is at maximum hit point value for it's level. If it is not then a
check is made to see if the character has 10 rations of food. If it does then
the 10 rations are deducted and the hit point value increased by 10 Hit
Points. This would mean that new characters could now plant with thier 110
silver issued to new characters and harvest the crops over 20 days to heal up
to maximum hit point for first level (110 HPs).

scum destroy your homeland in battle, as your friends are forced to fight of
the raiding bands of orcs all because of you. I had thought that all humans
were honorable but now. I do not fear you, I simply pity you.
Orcs, do you not have a leader now? It seems that you have no real battle
plan but are just raiding as your scum usually do. You shall all pay for this
destruction on that land that is your fault.

Orcs, Knightflyer, and all others who have united against Trolls and their
human friends, I greet thee with honor.
I shall waste no time and state extactly with purpose with this visit... I
have debriefed my Majesty in my homeland of the battles at present. I
will soon deliver maps as well. Goblin engineers will quickly construct
similations of ALL keeps which can be found in this realm, and our warriors
will practise upon them.
At this time, I deliver an ultimatium from my Majesty himself to ALL
human and Troll keep commanders... surrender at once! Those surrendering their
keeps will be considered neutral in the battles soon to follow. Neutral keeps
will have their gates defended by Goblin warriors, to control the access to
and from these keeps.
Any keep commander may address a responce to this ultamatium in mail to
myself. I will compile the responces into a final report for my Majesty. I
shall make no further comment on this matter, publicly or privately, for 7
days, at which time I'll present one final public announcement on a number of
relevant issues.
On one final note, consider this ultimatium seriously. For as I speak, a
Goblin raiding party is being assembled in the homeland. These warriors have
been hand selected by my majesty himself, and they will come in massive
numbers. Even in the worst case senario, if ALL Orc, Goblin and allied
resistance were eliminated before their arrival, we are confident they would
still prevail over your meager forces!

Well you need not wait a week for my reply, goblin vile. I, Lord of Stonefist,
and most recently appointed Field Marshall of Army3 Forces, will never bow to
underworld rule... and shall fight on until we are rid of you and your kind!
Your orcian allies are being driven further back each day, to the holes they
have crawled from... once thier threat is elliminated I shall turn Army3's
attention to Bubbletown. We have a secret weapon that may solve the riddle,
which had perplexed our previous Field Marshal for over a year. We propose to
take the fighting to the streets of Bubbletown itself!
