There are now two Castles on the expanded map. Troll Keep at and around 1965
and Lord Thor's Keep (the name evades me) at and around hex 3021. The first
six rows of the KINGDOM TKC Map have been completed so far. Other Keeps will
be added as I complete the map in a northerly direction.

A great cataclysm had taken place in the world. For some reason unknown to the
inhabitants the waters of the oceans had begun to rise. Some said it was an
evil curse from the long thought dead Wizard, others in a more scientific bent
of thought looked for natural reasons. Niether thought stopped the advance of
the water. The coastal Castles and Towns were first to go under, the
populations retreating before it's advance. Two years found the Lowlands under
10 feet of water with only the Troll Mountains left above the water line and
Troll Keep the only walled Castle. They now were island chains. Troll Keep
became the new center of the remaining order.

Prayers were made and offering made and some said that it was for this
reasonthat the advance of this mighty tide had been reversed. Thor's Keep at
109 (now 3021) was the first Keep to raise it's Tower from the watery grave
and it was hoped by all that this would continue until all the Realm was
restored to it's former glory.

The character file was moved here a few days ago. All characters were placed
at hex 1961. As thier Log Files are not yet created there is no fear of being
killed until that is done. Once the entire map is free of flooding then
KINGDOM TKC will be taken down. Treasuries and any characters still on KINGDOM
TKC and not here will be moved over on request. Any player whose character log
has not been created here and dies during the transition stage on KINGDOM TKC
will not be transported and deleted from this Character Record if reported to
me.

The map, although larger, is scaled 5:1 in relation to the old map, so all
Lord's will have Keeps on this map in approximately the same areas as found
onthe old map only larger and more detailed. For now a loyalty of Troll Kingom
will gain access through the Troll Keep's Gates. Set Mode to 2 for easy
movement inside as it is becoming filled. Fighting will not be tolerated by
Captain Max D. Troll and his Royal Guards. Any offenders shall have the death
sentence imposed on them. Affairs outside his Keep are not of his concern.

A brave and adventurous Mariner Goon1 set out from the Keep to explore
unflooded areas. He took carrier pigeons from the Keep and one has returned
reporting that all of the Troll Mountains to the north and east of the Keep
are above the water line. This would compare to 408 to 419 ofthe old map. He
reports that travel is confusing without the old land marks and advised
intensive study of an atlas before setting out on such exploration missions.
He was camped in an area that would be in the old 416 hex when he let the
pigeon free.

I have added a hex scan, very simular to the Atlas, in the Movement Menu. It
gives a 6X5 hex area with the character's location centered in the cluster.
Terrain Type and Hex Numbers are listed in this scan. I hope this will help in
movement in the larger map. A 25 square hex area is approximately equal to one
of th old hexes in Kingdom TKC.

There is now a Casino Option installed in the Market Menu. I may be adding a
Casino Hex Type after tests are complete with it. Right now the House Funds
are accessed only through the core of the hex or by betting of course. The
auto-mover will allow a character to move onto the same section as another
character in mode 2 or 3, so a character protecting the house funds should be
set in mode 1 for now with notice going out to all visitors. :-) I shall look
into the encounter options a little later to ensure that a character is
stopped in his/her tracks when another character in mode 2, with a diffrent
loyalty, or mode 3 is encountered. The casino should be a safer place to hang
around at that point.

during the celebrations. A 5000sps limit is now exceptable and can be raised
apon request. Approach the actual casino on hex 2459 with inter-hex movement

encountered.

All those character names that you mentioned are still on the original
transfer point and have no log files to ensure that they remain alive until
thier players move them, create a log file and thus are truely in the new map.
Now with inter-map transfer working, at least internally at The Mall, other
options are available should thier presence bother you. I recognise some as
Paul Knight's for example who is quite busy of late and has had no time to get
all of his characters transfered. Let's give them all a little more time and
then create thier log files when the Utility is making henchmen again and then
at least the characters will not have been lost to game play.

I have installed a new addition to the Battle Routines. If a character, in
mode 2, is attacked and then the attack is withdrawn before Death of either
party, then the character who was attacked is changed to Mode 3. This is to
make attacks and withdrawls for healing, so as to resume the battle, a bit
more difficult.

take the throne by power are always bad for the people, the best example would

During this period of upheaval I feel that it best to state where exactly the
Royal Troll Guard stands in this affair. We have watched Kings come and Kings
go in this world, including our own line, the Great Troll King, drowned by
some wizardry spell. King Mandorallen has always respected the Troll Kingdom,
and left us to our internal politics, and in return we have supported him, and
in his name Lord Blackrin, present Lord of the Troll Kingdom.



Should King Mandorallen truely be dead, or deposed in any way off the throne,
the Trolls feel no commitment to follow in any line the powers formed under
King Mandorallen, and excepts no orders than from he himself in these troubled
times. The Trolls recognise the King in more than name, but as a true Warrior
as well as guiding force. Therefore a test would have to be made of any claim
from a living Mandorallen, that he was indeed the true King, whose name we
hold high.






Until that time should arise we have no quarrel with any Lords, nor take sides
in the present issue. We Guard our Kingdom and the Magic Portal which opens
onto it. Hexes 2213, 2463, 2464 and 2465 are totally off limit to all, unless
with direct permission from myself. Hexes 2459-2461, inclusive, we also claim
as under my direct rule as Captain of the Royal Troll Guard, yet may be
visited with loyalty of 'Knock Knock Knock', the Casino being open for
business.

We hope that Peace and Order may be restored to the Kingdom soon, both in the
Southern Mountain chain, known as the Troll Mountains and elsewhere in our
world. I hope only to further this cause by making this proclomation.
