I wouldn't count 100% on seeing the Troll King dead. If even the smallest bit
of him escaped the fire, he will be back. A finger, or chunk of skin will do
the job. Some carnivorus fish shall find quite the surpise in it's gullet when
he begins to form. Of course, this could take ages, as this body part may bee
deep within the ocean, and he would continue to drown, and be eaten by
carnivors. It is of no matter. I shall be around to witness his return, though
no mortal shall.

meet. Perhaps you could finance a ship to pick me up later, I paying for full

Lord? Seems he attacked me on Day 71, since my mode was/is set at 1 he would

I'm alive, I want peace and it seems only a dead man can have peace around
here. As if Kael-Tarjan could have killed me. Give me some credit. I am one of
the most powerful men in the world right now. My Duchy stands as before and
anybody found in it will be destroyed. I found out who my allies were in my
time of death as it is that time that the two-faced men showed their true
colors. A certain Grog's life isnt going to last long if I have anything to
say about it. A spy from the Troll Kingdom I gather. Sorry Bardia, I have the
upmost respect for you but I do not like Grog. He was part of a conspiracy of
your overthrowing. Isn't that funny how a little troll can become enemies with
such powerful men. You better find yourself some big bucks little boy because
if I ever find you you're going to be dead. Well Duke Samwise lives and I now
know who actually were true to me. Not only that but it gave me the time I
needed to do certain things... Anybody that would have had the brains enough
to check Castle Stonefist would have seen I was still alive, as we speak
Samwise has created an army bigger than ever before. One difference. We want
our peace, give it to us our perish in battle!

(And no this isn't me creating a new character with the same name, it is the
actual character, attackig me shoudl prove that. :-) And Dan can back it up as
he saw me logging in as the "dead" Samwise. I haven't been below 84 HP in over
3 months. Nobody is a match for me so far, except Edward Cain of course but we
all know how that ended.)

wearing Full Plate, and had 100 hit points. It also appears he killed a few of
my Bloodwarriors before, and apparently did not have time to heal himself
then(no city close enough). He is not a wimp, and has no people under
him(thank god), and fights all his battles himself. The person you killed must
just have been a whimp. Beware of a man named Maelstrom, for he is probably
your worst enemy, and greatest opponent. As for as I can tell, he too has more
than 100 hit points, or is VERY lucky.

Dan: Don't add that feature, what happens if you are looking for a friend to
exchange weapons, or funds or just to leave a message and he had his mode on
1. Now you could leave him the message still bu if you add that you might get
killed by your friend or in my case, might kill your friend. :-) Leave it the
way it is now, works good. I do see your point though, it would be great if
you could do it for enemies only but Loyalty setting isn't enough to decide
enemies on.

Darren:

I was thinking of having Mode 3 act as Mode 1 does now. That way one could be
highly offensive, as would be wanted in a warring scenario. Right now the
logged in player seems to have the edge, in being able to pick and choose the
fight. If Mode 2 remained the same and Mode 3 became like Mode 1, then I think
the non-logged in player and the logged in player would be more balanced in
terms of surprises. Think on that angle and give me your thoughts. Remember
even in my Mode 1 idea, there would be a roll for probability of encounter.
I don't know if you have noticed yet but until you meet a character in Mode 1,
in a multi-character populated section of hex, you can now go through the
entire list of who is there and choose your encounter. A Mode 1 setting will
stop the process as you go to the Encounter Chian File Menu.

Yes swindle merchants and other erratic behavior seem to be taking place after
changing loyalty. This is a funny bug to appear at this time, for I was
thinking of making loyalty a much more difficult thing to change, like only
when you were releaved from your past liege or in the event of his death.
Could lend to some interesting intrigue. :-)
As that section of code shall have to be looked at anyway, this may be a good
time for any feedback in that regard.

A check is now being made to the Registered Alias File for validation before
creating a character. If validation is found to be correct, then the name of
that Password's Account is automatically added to the Character Name Field.
This is the first step towards having characters that are killed remain so

Within a few days shall be the Centenial of the death of the last of the
Fredrick Line. Namely King Fredrick III. Being of Royal Blood I feel that this
day should be marked. In so doing I propose to hold a contest that shall begin
on that day. I have set my man "Tremptatious" loose to hide in the Kingdom at
large. The first three contestants to find him and leave a message with him
shall be elligable for the next stage of the contest. They will then have to
journey to my Castle in the Southern Mountains. There they will set thier Mode
to Mode 2 and have a joust. I shall ask Dan to oversee this event. They will
have to draw for turns. By that I mean who goes first and so on. Any that
retire from the battle will be considered defeated and the opponent given the

Wouldn't you be better off in a castle anyways.

I had thought that Mandorallen had declaired 788, 682, 630 all to be open.
Meaning any could use these places. You would be better off to buy your own
castle but silver is a little hard to get in that quantity.

I have come to the conclusion that all the major lords left in the world are
most honourable. last night I called on Prince Bardia and Mandorallen for
help. This morning when I logged in they had both finished helping me. I can
not begin to thank them more. I think we've finally advanced to teh point
where all the powerful characters in the world, what we call the honourable
lords can actually trust each other. I think it is time that we can actually
coexist to destroy those opposing us instead of fighting each other. i really
do belive it can really work as I've seen many opportunities where i could
have been killed but these honoorable lords did not use my moments of weakness
to stump me out, they instead let a worthy man live so he could help them in
the future. Of course it was a good decision but none the less it would be
most tempting to kill the renown Duke Samwise. unfortunately they wouldn't
have gone up much levels as I spent all my money. :-) I'd like to propose a
new council. A counsil where Mandorallen, jetsam, Samwise and prince Bardia
can sit. Perhaps when Fire Elf comes back from his island hideaway he can
adapt to the new world and join the council of Lords. Dan could you create a
room for our "Coucil of Lords" and invite those four alias accounts.
