Let all citizen's be reminded the boundaries of Troll Keep encompass all
mountain areas which are attached without break from the Keep hexes. This
would be north to the swamp boundary of Rockwaller and open country on the
east and west borders. The southern boundary would run along the map's most
southern extreme. Any mining in this mountain area is to be done, only after
recieving permission from Troll Keep authority. This shall be enforced more
ridgetly once Major Dome Guard's Army3 Patrols have been recalled.

Dundain: The patrols shall be recalled as soon as possible.

News from Bubbletown

Subaltern Filler's Patrols have encountered The Vampire General in one of the
two secret passageways out of Bubbletown unto the lake. Army3 Soldier11 and
Subalter Filler were lost in the melee, yet reenforcements are onroute and we
hope to place another brick in the Fortress Prison by taking this means of
escape.

91Jan11 4:58 pm from Major Dome Guard
The Vampires have been taken out of thier position. I must say they put on a
much better fight than thier goblin scum allies. This fact shall be noted for
future encounters. They have enacted a cost, as all loses of Army3 were old
and experienced warriors, yet our objective has been won... the hill taken...
there being but one exit from Bubbletown now. This exit shall be seiged by the
remaining forces of Army3, so that a forced confrontation can be made with the
goblin scum.

This shall give the rest of the realm time to settle from this prolonged
conflict. At least now the raids from Bubbletown should be over and the Lords
of the Realm have time to return order unto the land. All Army3 patrols shall
be recalled shortly to re-enforce the seige of Bubbletown. Once this is
complete, loyalties shall not be enforced by Army3 Wandering Patrols. I shall
post when that task is complete.

Long Live The Realm!

Major Dome Guard (Army3)

91Jan11 9:05 pm from Dan Johnson
Some difficulties with remote use of version 2.07 were reported tonight so I
put up 2.06 until they are resolved.

91Jan11 10:16 pm from Sir Kyrian Iolair
Congradulations Major - another victory for order. I suggest the Lords of the
lands gather in a meeting spot - to revive the Council of Pre-War Days.

91Jan11 11:58 pm from Dundain Aberon
Well done Army3!

91Jan12 9:46 am from Sir Galaxy
I agree Sir Kyrian. Does anyone still have a copy of the old charter?
Congrats Major Dome Guard!

91Jan12 5:35 pm from Dundain Aberon
Citizens of The Realm -

Farmer Troll has announced that he wishes that the position of Commander of
The Royal Troll Guard be filled. By tradition, it is to be decided by duels
unto death of any candidates. I have been urged to enter the contest. Although
not Troll, there appears to be no precedent barring my entry in all
Historical Journals available at Troll Keep. Indeed I have the endorsement of
Troll Warrior 15 and 16 to name but a few.

Any wishing to partake in the contest begin journy to Troll Keep's foriegn
quarter at hex 1958 and leave a posting announcing the fact. They shall have
choice or armour and weapons curtosy of Troll Kingdom and time to reflect in
our Temple, before the match.

91Jan13 2:13 pm from Major Dome Guard
Thank you one and all for your support. More good news from Bubbletown...

Private Domian Fighter 1 (who shall be promoted as soon as campaign is
re-installed) moved hissquad into seige position at Bubbletown. He found
opportunity for an attack on the Bubbletown Market through version 2.07 bugs
and took advantage to give those inside a taste of Army3 steel.

91Jan13 7:30 pm from Dan Johnson
I think I have fixed all walking through walls and crashes during the battle
routines which aided Army3 in thier offensive against Bubbletown. Version 2.07
is offline as I will be hacking at it to install ModemI/O. Version 2.06 is
online in the meantime.

Players will find the archive of the message base back to Jan 09 in the file

request.

91Jan16 1:58 am from Dan Johnson
I should have the game door installed later today or tommorrow...

91Jan16 5:46 pm from Dan Johnson
TKC Door has been re-installed... now to MBR and REG installations.

91Jan16 5:57 pm from Dan Johnson
All TKC related doors seem to be up and running again. Please report any
irregularities, should they occure.

91Jan18 5:27 pm from phil
I'm an new member to this board, but I can't get into any doors!! How long
after I've registered does it take to get access?

91Jan18 8:50 pm from gogo
hello mark is any one there

91Jan19 5:33 pm from Dan Johnson
Due to themajor crash allthe game helpfiles are offline, Phil. However the
steps to joining in TKC are as follows...

1) Use MBR Door once and only once to register you the player and the
password the game will recognise as yours.

2) Use REG Door suppling your real name and password as just given to
the MBR Door. This door will be needed to be used each time you create
a new character, because of death or whatever.

3) Supply the Character's Password given to REG Door and TKC will give
you the option to create the character.

It should be noted that all game passwords are case sensitive. I.E.
the passwords 'TEST', 'Test' and 'test' would all be different and unique
passwords.

91Jan19 5:33 pm from Dan Johnson
Hi gogo :)

91Jan19 7:53 pm from Dundain Aberon
Hail all! A few small matters...

Curdin - Please create an accout to get mail and let me know.

Sir Kyrain Ioliar - I have two slaves that I purchased get born near your
keep. Any chance to get equipment on credit or have
them work it off?

Major Dome Guard - You recall all your patrols yet?

91Jan19 8:18 pm from Major Dome Guard
Dundain : Most, yet not all, patrols have been recalled. It shall have my full
attention once Army3 is inposition at the Bubbletown Seige. I shall take them
out of Mode3 to Mode2 so that they will not attack any of your patrols in the
meantime.

91Jan19 10:23 pm from Major Dome Guard
Dundain: Patrols have arrived at Solice Keep from Troll Keep, reporting
encounters with an Orc Foot Soldier just south east of Troll Keep along the
map border. They have elliminated it, yet had left the west gate open to the
foriegn quarter, so you may want to check on it and send out further patrols.
We are not sure if they are allies of the goblins or not... perhaps stranded
outside Bubbletown due to Army3's seige.

91Jan20 1:00 pm from Dundain Aberon
Major Dome Guard - Your warning was most prophetic as a look to the 1716
Gossip Tree shall reveal. The Inner Keep is now secured, yet Farmer Troll and
Troll FootSoldier4 were lost in an Orc attack. I now take supreme authority at
the Keep and Command the Royal Troll Guard until challenged.

Orcs - Beware of the rath of Dundain Aberon!

91Jan20 4:02 pm from gogo
Do you have any software that can be downloaded to me

91Jan20 10:37 pm from Curdin Dwarf
With the loss of Farmer Troll, the dwarves of Rockwater shall accept Dundain
Aberon as the rightfull Lord of the Troll Mountains.

On a side note, I have given orders for work on the highway to begin again.

My old notes say that this was a plan devised by the great King Mandorallen,
later the Baron Bearcrusher made notes on his maps the route that had been
chosen. Us dwarven builders had once began to do this work as Durin father of
all dwarves had been a true friend of the great king, but war distracted us.
Now we shall endevor to make up for lost time.

Will any of the greater Lords be prepared to sponcer work in thier area??

If any desire I will post the Kings Route.

91Jan21 12:54 am from Dundain Aberon
Curdin Dwarf - Your loyalty in the matter of my Lordship is most appreciated.
I have the support also of most all of those loyal to Farmer and Troll
FootSoldier4 as well.

All mining in Troll Mountains is to be cleared first through me. Also while
travelling in the Troll Mountains loyalty is to be set to 'Hawkeye' the
Captain of my Elite Guard, so that travellers can be inspected for ore.

91Jan21 11:54 pm from Mark Metson
Well not only do we now have B.O.O.N.E.R. (Knotwork Lobe 1007) up and running:
we have compiled T.K.C. against the latest Knotwork units, so the new version
of T.K.C. has the latest whizbangs like shelling out to DOS and restoring DOS
screen on exit from program and the like.

The Knotwork version of T.K.C. is accessed via the KNOT door; that is, you
have to sign on to B.O.O.N.E.R. in order to access it from here.

When you get logged on to B.O.O.N.E.R., TKC is accessed by pressing M for More
(the More Options menu) then P for Proceed to proceed into TKC.

Since B.O.O.N.E.R. has been started afresh from distribution disks, all
NEGATIVE I.D. users of B.O.O.N.E.R. are no longer on file (as of 21/01/1991).
ABSOLUTE (Positive) I.D. users are of course on file, as they are on all
Knotwork Lobes everywhere.

91Jan22 3:59 pm from Dan Johnson
TKC inside Knotwork had been disengaged until I have finished ironing out some
bugs, mods and other details. So for now continue to use the TKC Door from
Citadel.

91Jan23 1:06 am from Sir Tarrakon
Curdin, a roadway was begun by the previous Lord of Errant Keep; Lord Ulfgar;
towards the west. I would like to see either that continued towards Stonefist
or another to the east toyour Troll Mountains. My treasury would be broken to
finance such an endevor, if only a track. Yet my total support and obligation
to patrol the way would be given.

91Jan23 1:09 am from Sir Tarrakon
Let all know that Errant Keep lays claim to all open lands to it's east up to
and bordering Troll Mountains. To the west the distance of the previously
mentioned roadway and then directly south from that point. Any passing through
our borders are to have loyalty set to me and mode 2. (My proper loyalty would
be 'Tarrakon')

91Jan23 1:57 am from Sir Tarrakon
Curdin, a roadway was begun by the previous Lord of Errant Keep; Lord Ulfgar;
towards the west. I would like to see either that continued towards Stonefist
or another to the east to your Troll Mounastins. My treasury lacks the funds
to finance such an endevor, if only a track. Yet my total support and
obligation to patrol the way would be given.
